Always wanted to try Tambo lounge, so I decided to have breakfast there this morning. At first I thought 10.50 plus 1.25 black pudding was a little on the steep side, but after finishing, I believe that price is justified! 10/10! Will come again.

Had a lovely breakfast at Tambo lounge today. Service was fairly quick and portions were amazing. We specifically requested poached eggs and they were perfect and I requested mine without beans and tomatoes. Had a lovely pot of earl grey tea on the side as well and could pick from a wide variety of different milks and had vegan options too. The “brunch” menu has loads of options as well including vegan and vegetarian options. Staff were really lovely as well and made sure that we had everything we needed and that everything was okay. Really enjoyed it in here and will be back.

We visited at 5pm on a Saturday, we did get a table for 2 but we were lucky as the restaurant was nearly full. We ordered via the QR code on the table, drinks came quickly and the food around 10 mins later. I had the vegan Caribbean cauliflower curry and my partner had the vegan bang bang cauliflower. Both were excellent, the curry was mildly spicy with lime rice, the best vegan curry I've ever had. Sadly 3 out of 4 of the vegan desserts were unavailable but my partner had the warm chocolate brownie which he described as delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff were polite and attentive and the prices are average. We would definitely visit again.

A bit of a wait to order food at the bar, but after that, very good. Drinks & cutlery brought quickly and the food was excellent. I had the Persian Lamb Flatbread, others had a tapas mix. We were all delighted with the food. Reasonably priced too.

Staff are really sociable, polite, efficient and helpful. Service was about 20/25 mins even though the place was packed. My son said the Korean fried chicken burger was the best burger he has has in ages. It was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Well that was bloody lovely. Somewhere en route to break up the journey from the Toon, this little gem in Newark. Not very busy on a Saturday night but started to fill up as we got there. Table service available utilising the QR code and you can order at the bar and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! Lovely food and hope the photos do it justice!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced, some good offers like a free dessert with selected meals. Decor is good, real candles add a nice touch. Music could be a little lower so people can have conversations without shouting.
